The first thing is that at least at this point (early-mid Act 2), either myself, my merc, or either group of wolves could pretty easily handle any normal situation. I had been waiting until lvl 20 to check things out (I'd have slvl 3 Dire Wolf at that point), but got bored, so I went ahead and compared my 5 slvl 5 Spirit Wolves versus my 2 slvl 2 Dire Wolves. I'm building a werewolf/wolf summoner and I'm only lvl 19, so I know these are low levels, but oh well. I'm always one more for playing experience than pure number crunching, so I'd like to throw my experience in. Is that factoring in the passive bonuses of each? If I totally messed something up, oh well.Īs these skills pertain to my build plan, level 1 summon grizzly and level 20 heart of wolverine will provide 715 damage per round of hits from 5 maxed Spirit Wolves. Some of these calculations are not EXACT, but they are within a range of 5. The more targets the better, Spirit Wolf wins. level 20 Dire Wolf (with both skills at level 20).ġ Spirit Wolf does 52 max damage per shot.ĥ Spirit Wolves do 260 if each hits one time. I just did some simple multiplication for my own purposes, I thought other people might want the same information. Printer-friendly copy Email this topic to a friend Questions?
